The biggest rivalry in the NFL put on another classic. Coach Gibbs told reporters "This is the biggest game of the season.". Currently on a 3 game losing streak the Redskins needed this game to stay 1st in the NFC East. Not only did this game decide who keeps the top position, it also kept the Hot Eagles a half-game back. The first half was a terrible start for the Redskins offense, they were down 3-0 at half. C. Portis was stopped everytime he touched the ball, J.Campbell tried to take over but that was a bust throwing INT's in the red zone. The Redskins D came up big in the 3rd quarter when S.Taylor stepped in front of a pass and took it to the house to make it 7-3 Skins. In the 4th quarter T.O made a big play turning a screen pass into a touchdown to make it 10-7 Boys. Then with 20 seconds left in the game on the Dallas 4 yard line , C.Portis took a RB delay into 7 points to put the Skins up 14-10 with 15 seconds left. The Cowboys needed a miracle and almost got it with no time left when Romo threw a Hail Mary to T.O, with the Redskins playing prevent T.O had a step on three DB's and dropped the ball at the 4 yard line. Final score 14-10 .
