The Redskins will be hosting the Eagles in a match up of two NFC EAST powerhouses. The Redskins won their first matchup in week 2 by a score of 7-23. The Eagles would later avenge that loss with a 34-27 win in a Week 10 rematch. The Redskins have the 2nd best scoring Defense, allowing only 16.4 pts/game and there offense is lead Clinton Portis who had a monster season for the Skins, rushing for 1550 yards and 18 TDs.
The Eagles started off the season rough and quickly fired there old coach and brought in Coach Rebel around week 5 and have been on fire since. The Eagles took to the air this season and were 5th in Passing Yards/game but they will be facing a very good secondary this week with 2 safteys that are playmakers and love to blow Recievers up.

Defense steps up
The Washington Redskins found a way to win even with a sub-par offense. The game could have gone either way with the Eagles playing hard nose defense. The game started with the Redskins offense stalling at the Eagles 1 yard line, The Skins kicked a field goal to go up 3-0. When the Eagles received the ball they drove with ease to the Redskins 10 yard line when M.Washington came up big with a INT to stop the Eagles drive. Turnovers was the story of the game with the Eagles commiting 7 ( 5 Ints, 2 Fumbles). Even with 7 turnovers the Eagles defense held the Skins to field goals that keeped them in the game. But it ended up being too much for the Eagles to stage a comeback at Fedex field. Final score Redskins 26 Eagles 10. gg Rebel
