Use this to chat about anything non football related.

So i moved over the past few days and got a belkin 54g wireless router and can not stay loged on with me ps3. It logs in and then after a minute or so it keeps disconecting. I have no idea why but I think I might have to return it and get a new router or something. Anyone know what I could try to fix this?

Could be any number of things. Might be the frequency range is off a bit, not sure if you can change it with that router or not. Could be a firewall issue with that router. I would suggest going to read over the ps3 forums, they have some good people over there and some good posts about connection issues. Also google your router with ps3 connection and see what you get back.

It keeps happening with my internet too. I will be signed on aim and it will sign me off and on back and forth. It said I have 90 to 100% usually though and my ps3 is pretty close to my router.

I looked it up lastnight and several people were listing the same complaints about that router. Not sure if its firmware or just the way its built but they were saying it keeps dropping connection and such.

Yea i returned the belkin router and got a linksys and it works great. I just think the Belkin's are beat.
