MATCHUP:
BEARS: #5 SCORING OFFENSE, #13 SCORING DEFENSE.[/b][/i]
PACKERS: #1 SCORING OFFENSE, #9 SCORING DEFENSE.

The Week 5 GOW pits two bitter NFC Norris division rivals. The PACKERS come into week 5 (3-1) atop the NFC NORTH. They are led by coach Stormdownburst and the ageless wonder Brett Favre, leading the top scoring offense in the league. The defense is led by Aaron Kampman, who comes into the game on a tear so far this season with 9 sacks in 4 games and will demand attention from the BEARS coach Pittftw4. The BEARS come into the game (2-1) with a tough San Diego game yet to be played. The BEARS are led by a solid defense and the dangerous multi-talented Devin Hester, who has 2 return TDs already.

The Norris division looks very tough this season with the Vikings (2-1) looking strong as well behind coach Cemosma8 and rookie phenom Adrian Peterson.[/b][/center]

PACKERS POUND THE BEARS

Post  Admin on Sat Jan 12, 2008 2:20 am

The Week 5 Game Of The Week pitted two top NFC teams fighting for control of the NFC Norris division. What looked like a good matchup on paper turned into a statement game by the Packers and coach stormdownburst with the Packers winning 45-14.

The Packers Offense was led by a solid performance by Brett Favre (11-16: 338 Yards: 1 TD: 1 INT). Ryan Grant led the rushing attack with 92 Yards on 30 carries, and 2 TD.

The Packers Defense also played a great game picking off the Bears an outrageous 11 times and also tallied 3 sacks.

The Packers look like to be a force in the NFC and now sit at 4-1 atop the NFC North.
